Oracle upgrades platform with AI, EHR integration
Austin, Texas-based Oracle has added new capabilities to its electronic data capture platform, Clinical One Data Collection, to improve clinical trial efficiency and accelerate therapy development.
The enhancements include direct, AI-enabled integration between EHRs and Oracle’s platform, according to an Aug. 27 news release.
Researchers can now securely transfer data using the Oracle Clinical Connector, eliminating manual entry and streamlining research workflows.
The update also expands document management, allowing clinical sites to upload contextual files — such as lab scans — alongside structured data. Mobile upload features aim to give research teams a more complete view of trial participants and help centralize documentation.
