Bon Secours Mercy Health names chief information security officer

Tracy Griffin has been named chief information security officer of Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Ms. Griffin has served as interim CISO of the 48-hospital system since May, having joined the organization in 2010 as information security audit and compliance manager. She previously worked in information security leadership at hospitals in Virginia.

“As CISO, Tracy will lead the organization’s vision and strategy to ensure our information assets and technologies are well protected,” the health system said in an August LinkedIn post. “Her leadership will be critical in safeguarding our data, systems, and reputation, with a strong focus on third-party cybersecurity accountability and performance.”
