Vanderbilt taps chief supply chain officer

Vanderbilt University Medical Center has named Yolanda Redmond chief supply chain officer.

She will succeed Teresa Dail, BSN, RN, who will retire from the role at the end of the year and will continue to serve as president of Vanderbilt Health Supply Chain Solutions, according to an Aug. 28 news release from the health system.

Ms. Redmond will take over leadership of VUMC’s $3 billion supply chain operations, overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory, equipment management and support services.

She joined the health system after working in telecommunications and has since held multiple roles in finance and supply chain, most recently contributing to VUMC’s transition to the Workday platform, the release said.
