Parkview Health to build $150M Indiana hospital

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Parkview Health has shared plans for a $150 million full-service hospital and medical office building in Lebanon, Ind.

The 108,000-square-foot facility will comprise a 24/7 emergency department, along with inpatient medical, specialty and surgical care. The 30,000-square-foot medical office building will feature specialty and primary care, a shared employer clinic and outpatient diagnostics, according to an Aug. 26 news release shared with Becker’s.

Construction on the hospital is expected to kick off in 2026, with plans to open in the summer of 2028. The facility is expected to bring more than 200 jobs.

“Boone County (Ind.) is growing quickly, and the availability of high-quality healthcare is essential to supporting its long-term growth,” Greg Johnson, DO, chief physician executive of growth markets, Parkview Health, said in the release. “By investing here, we want to ensure that families in Lebanon and surrounding communities can receive advanced care close to home, delivered by providers who are committed to their neighbors for generations to come.”
