Kentucky hospital names CEO

Jamie Easterling has been appointed CEO of Whitesburg (Ky.) ARH Hospital.

Mr. Easterling has more than 30 years of healthcare experience and most recently served as COO of the hospital, according to an Aug. 25 hospital news release.

He spent 24 years with Cincinnati-based TriHealth, where his leadership roles included president and COO of Good Samaritan Hospital and Bethesda North Hospital, both in Cincinnati. He also previously served as a partner and chief commercial officer of Project MedTech, a medical device consulting firm.

Lexington, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare operates 14 hospitals in Kentucky and West Virginia. The system employs about 6,700 people and has more than 1,300 providers on staff.
