Kentucky health system to implement Epic by 2026

Bowling Green, Ky.-based Med Center Health will implement Epic’s EHR system across its hospitals and clinics, with the rollout expected to be complete by the end of 2026.

The upgrade, approved by Med Center Health’s Board of Directors, marks what leaders called a major step toward improving patient access and care coordination. The transition comes as the system approaches its 100-year anniversary in 2026, according to an Aug. 20 news release.

Med Center Health operates six hospitals and more than 30 clinics in Southcentral Kentucky.
