
Penn Medicine marketing chief departs for University of Miami – Becker’s Hospital Review | Healthcare News
The former chief marketing officer of Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine has joined University of Miami in the same role.
Tanya Andreadis was named senior vice president and chief marketing, communications and digital officer of University of Miami in June. She served as vice president and chief marketing and engagement officer for Penn Medicine from 2021 to 2025, after a previous stint at the health system from 2012 to 2019.
“At a time when challenges in our industry are converging with opportunities in our city, Tanya brings a wealth of experience driving global growth and digital transformation in the healthcare and higher education sectors,” Rudy Fernandez, executive vice president for university operations and external affairs and chief of staff at University of Miami, wrote in a letter to staff. “Tanya will lead our marketing, communications and digital efforts enterprisewide, as we seek to capitalize on our positive trajectory and recent centennial to take our reputation to the next level.”
Ms. Andreadis has also served as chief marketing officer of Los Angeles-based UCLA Health and in marketing leadership roles at Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Halifax Health and Arlington, Va.-based VCH Health.
Aaron Johnson has been named interim chief marketing officer at Penn Medicine. He had been associate vice president for patient and consumer engagement at the health system since 2018.
