Chicago rehab hospital names chief clinical officer

Chicago-based Shirley Ryan AbilityLab has tapped Cheri Blauwet, MD, as senior vice president and chief clinical officer. 

Dr. Blauwet will step into the role in September, according to a July 11 news release from Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.

She currently serves as chief medical officer of Boston-based Spaulding Rehabilitation and as interim chair of physical medicine and rehabilitation for Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham.

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab was ranked the top rehabilitation hospital by U.S. News and World Report for 2024-2025.
