AdventHealth adds to Florida hospital’s inaugural leadership team

Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has appointed four leaders for its new hospital in Minneola, Fla., which is set to open in December under the leadership of CEO Kay Barnett.

AdventHealth Minneola will be the ninth hospital in the health system’s Central Florida division, according to a July 21 AdventHealth news release.

Paul Adeogun was named COO. He has been with AdventHealth for eight years, most recently serving as executive director of operations at AdventHealth Orlando (Fla.).

Miles Bennett, DO, was appointed chief medical officer for AdventHealth Minneola and AdventHealth Winter Garden (Fla.). He joined the system in 2011 and has played a key role in launching new facilities, including AdventHealth Winter Garden’s inpatient tower.

Liann Breyer was named CFO. She has spent 12 years with the system in finance and operations roles, most recently as director of finance at AdventHealth Apopka (Fla.).

Kandy Medlen, MSN, RN, was appointed chief nursing officer. She most recently served as executive director of nursing at AdventHealth Orlando.
