Forty hospitals and health systems were recognized on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Employers for Women 2025.

The list, in its eighth year, includes 700 companies and was developed in partnership with market research firm Statista. Rankings are based on surveys from more than 140,000 women employed at companies with more than 1,000 U.S.-based employees.

Respondents rated their employers on factors such as pay equity, parental leave, work-life balance, advancement opportunities and how incidents of discrimination and sexual misconduct are handled. Surveys from the past three years were considered, with recent data weighted more heavily.
